eye 4 eye counter?

I heard that Holy Water negated Eye 4 eye on monsters that used it. It didn't work.Is there a countermeasure for this spell?

Eye for an Eye will only reflect a spell back so many times (based on the power level of the spell cast I believe) before it expires. So if Eye for an Eye can reflect back 4 spells, then you would have to cast Holy Water four times. Holy Water is suggested before it will never do any damage to your party. You can use power level 1 area affect or cone spells too. You will take minimal damage and still damage the monsters (as long as their resistances are not that high).

Another technique, when facing monsters that cast Eye for an Eye and high level cloud spells (noxious cloud, draining cloud, etc.), is to cast the same spell (noxious cloud, for example) at the monsters at power level 1. Since two spells of the same type cannot be active at once the newer spell (the low power level one) overrides the older spell (the high power level one originally cast by the monsters).

Probably a bit more than you wanted to know, but there it is.
