how exactly do i make a full blown weapon? i have like 200 blades and my dude will sharpen them i guess, but nothing seems to happen. do i have to sharpen for a long time? also then what do u do with a sharpened blade?

The smith explains it if you ask him.
1.fire
2.hammer
3.water
4.sharpen it

You can do this in bulk. Do everything for at least one or two seconds. With 200 pieces I donīt think you want to make use of this exploit.

1. what exploit?
2. the only thing i can do is sharpen and that doesnt even seem to do a nything. every other thing i try to do my dude just shrugs.
3. when the blade is sharpened is it a ready to use sword?

1.You can multiply the things you modify if you do it as fast as possible.

3.normally yes. See if itīs sorted as a weapon in your inventory.

ok im gonna go try it out, and see if it makes a sword or something. and i didnt exploit, i just beat up the smith guy and he dropped alot of blade thingies

Whoa, Gorath, you sound like a newbie in this thread!


You cannot make any swords better than Crude Swords.

You don't have to buy raw steel. Go to the chest at the blacksmiths. Pick the lock, then steal some material. No one will care.

Or you can beat up Huno and his assitant. Don't ever pay for things in Gothic, unless you have to. eg: The merchant is invincible.

Holding the material in the water, flame, sharpener or anvil will not make a difference. Just hold down CTRL, and keep pressing UP or E or W or whatever you use.

If your player shrugs near a station, that means that he ran out of materials to modify.

The blade is done after it is sharpened.
