I have a geforce fx5900 and 2ghz p4 with 512meg of memory. I am only getting frame rate of 10-12 inside the city . Even when I go down 800x600 its still only 10-12 frames per seconds. Are their any know problem with Geforce fx cards?

Thatīs normal. Gothic 2 is CPU limited and eats RAM for breakfast. Resolution has nearly no impact. You can toggle the details on the fly with F1-F4. SHould only be necessary in the city and at Lobardīs farm.
