|
I saw the screens. I viewed the site. I listened to the music, But I dont know what it is. Would anyone tell me as to which game it is a MOD to; Gothic or G2, and whether it will be in english?

if I'm not mistaken, it would be an onofficial MOD for G2 _________________ Want to become a vampire? a warrior in the battle between vampires and werewolves?

ToD started off as an ambitious Gothic MOD project. But, since the G2 MDK has been released, they decided to embrace the newer engine, which makes sense imho. |

As mentioned somwhere else, the team will concentrate on finishing the project as it is, in German, and only then will they decide whether to translate it or not, depending on the interest of English community. |

It's a shame that so few finished mods appear for Gothic. It never seems to get the attention it deserves. _________________ “Everyone’s a girl when they’re face down.” |

You don`t know how right you are about Gothic 2 not getting the deserved attention....stupid Disney games and fullish FPS`s all get expansion pakcs and they are multi-languageal games, but Gothic is not even close to this, altough it is light years better than the mentioned games.....the Sims got 7 or 8 (don`t remember and I`m to lazy to count them now ) expansion packs in less than 2 years and Gothic`s only expansion pack didn`t even got translated and released. These things make me go nuts! _________________ But one thing is certain: we shall meet again! |

RPGs in general get less attention than shoot'em up games. I never liked the mindless run-around-and-kill-everything-in-sight type of games, but it's all a matter of opinion, and unfortunately the majority of gamers like these games. |

Indeed, still most gamers are mindless. Gothic only recently lost it's cult-status, but the big public still doesn't know of the game. And in some way that's probably better too. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."
