Man, that is a tough poll.
For RPGs obviously the 100+ hour epics BG1&2 are king.
But, I have been playing Diablo1&2 since 97. I beat them at least once annually.
Yea, they are action RPGs....but they have infinite replay value with random levels etc.
Also, I do enjoy the Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance console games.
But, my vote goes to Diablo. I am actually quite excited about Guild Wars as it appears to be the only MMORPG in the Diablo vain...and it's free.

I think that Diablo better than "Baldurs gate Dark Alliance" a million time!

Opposite ends of the same line...
I cannot, nay, will not choose.
Suffice to say I loved both(or all four if you will)
Never had as much fun as an archer as I did in Diablo 2
and no other game has ever peaked my interest in druids like Baldurs Gate 2
Both my Amazon and my Shifter will be sorely missed in the lost save file in the sky
Now if Blizzard would pull finger and look at a third Diablo
Well.....sleep and I were never really good friends anyway  |
