I'd like to add my vote to Evil Islands too. I really liked the game from beginning to end.
Hints:
- When upgrading skills, upgrad the most expensive ones first; (almost) all others double in cost, so best double the cost of the cheapest ones.
- Add partymembers, strip them clean and dump them! They can't be taken with you between lvls (islands) and u can manage without them (and gain more xp).
But!
- Yes, Zak is a wuss
- The ending is SOO stupid:
SPOILER!!
1) right before the final battle, u can buy the best equipment available, so there goes you equipment that u saved and worked for so hard 2) You'' think: "Was that it?" I know I did...

too bad Nival doesn't have an advertising budget like Sierra or Microsoft. EI is probably the best RPG few people have ever heard of. |

Well, maybe this will change in the nearest future - because of Etherlords. I heard it was quite an excellent game. |

Etherlords was pretty, but much thinner in gameplay and story than EI. Technically, Etherlords is a masterpiece, but wholly uninspiring. _________________ "It has been a grand journey- well-worth making once."

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode. I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

I really liked this little game, although I never finished it for some reason. Maybe it was too hard? Anyhow, the game would be sooo much better if the main character wasn't such a WUSS. He irritates me. |
