Eh, does this happen to anyone else? |
|
The commands "summon familiar" and "possess familiar" won't stay to an assigned quickslot. I can assign them to a quickslot, use the hotkey maybe once or twice, but after that it empties the slot. So I either have to keep reassigning the commands to a hotkey or do them manually with the radial menu. Is this how it's supposed to work, or is it a bug? _________________ = Member of The Nonflamers' Guild =

I lose quickslots on weapons. Fine for one to many uses then just when I really need it... Hey! Where did it go? Oh, well. I don't stress on these things - since they happen so much in RL, I've gotten used to being 'bugged'. _________________ Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

I never have that kind of problem either it is summoning familiar or using weapons (played under version 1.10 & 1.19). Maybe cause by patch 1.20? or maybe only happen to few players/happen randomly

The summon familiar should stay there, but you lose possess familiar when you load a game with a familiar in play or pass through a zone where it autosaves. Something during the save process mucks up the hotkey. You can reassign it, or just right click on the thing and possess it (which is easier).
The only time I lose weapon assignments is when a creature or enemy makes a disarm attack against me. If the weapon leaves the inventory, it automatically blanks the hotkey. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I have also noticed that items I've previously identified (particularly vampire arrows) will not be automatically id'd when I pick up new ones. _________________ Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

That's not a bug. How's your character supposed to know that all arrows that look like that are vampiric? They could be flaming or shocking or anything else and made to LOOK vampiric. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Thank ye. I wish summon familiar would stay in its slot, but, oh well. The radial menu is excellent and easy to use; I should not complain.

Heh, I found this out the hard way. Someone or something casted a disarm attack on my wizard and when I looked at my weapon slot a little while afterwards - it was blank. So I was immediately thinking, "Oh, not the weapons too!" ....but to my despair my quaterstaff was gone. Then I remembered the disarm attack. _________________ = Member of The Nonflamers' Guild =
