I got into the crypt , got down to the main hall where all the tombs are.
Searched all the tombs and robbed them but when I try to leave again up the stairs.....this damn lich appears and eventually kills me
I have tried everything to kill this lich but to no avail and I keep getting this message saying I cannot leave until I kill the lich
Any help please would be appreciated.......
I have tried fireballs and poisened sword but to no avail........

Not totaly sure which one you are fighting, but have one thing that helps you and that is if you can get up high enough on something and use poison arrows on them and your fireballs you can eventually kill them. Try finding something to jump up on would be the best. Also cast bless to improve your stats for a short time helps. 
Wish I had more ideas but if is the one I think you are meeting he is nasty.

What I did was lure him back to area with the pressure plates and lava. When he stepped on the metal 'bridge' I removed the object holding down the pressure plate, and he fell into the lava and died almost immediately. It took a few tries, but it worked. I didn't check to see if I got experience points for it though.
Oh and you can still loot his corpse even though you might not be able to see it. |
