Gothic Mod Development Kit
   

Does anyone know where or how I can get information about the kit and modding in general for gothic 1 in english?

Right here. We have some modding tutorials online over at GothicDot (just go to the hosted site for Gothic <--).
About the Dev Mod Kit, you might PM NicoDE.
