Games in the pipeline.....? |
|
OK,
I have Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights which are both excellent games IMO.
Icewind Dale 2 is due out (now september apparently), but after that, towards Christmas, what games (not online please) can I look forward to??
What games are pending and look good........if anyone knows, you guys do.
Regards,

Well, I'm waiting for the english version of Arx Fatalis. And of course Gothic 2. There are many others coming too. _________________ =Moderator of General MMORPG talk forum=

MW & NWN have certainly hotly anticipated for the last couple of years. Gothic 2 and Arx (Lionheart?) should be excellent but have we run out of big, upcoming titles? |

Hopefully not!
Oh, I have a gut feeling that I've heard about Fallout 3, they will make a sequel in this famous series. Or was it cancelled? Fallout 3 would make most of my dreams true, I absolutely loved the first parts!
If there happens such a thing that no new single player RPGs appear you can always try the sheer amount of MMORPGs. There should be something for everyone, atleast after a while Check here. Of course, 99% of them require monthly payment. :/ _________________ =Moderator of General MMORPG talk forum=

Well I'm definately getting these games when they come out:
Icewind Dale 2
Lionheart [have a feeling this game is going to totally rule]
Gothic 2 [same as above ]
but there are also some more good SP games coming out like Arx Fatalis _________________ = Member of The Nonflamers' Guild =

No need to repeat it 3 times Hurricane! We got it! heheheh
I'm looking forward to Lionheart as well. I know the graphics have been blasted by many people before, but the concept seems to hold promise. Heck, any game that gets compared to Darklands has potential in my book _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=

Lionheart and Fallout 3 are the games I'm currently waiting in the CRPG front. Although there has been no official announcement about Fallout 3, the designers have said that it will be done at some point over the next few years.
Lionheart shows a lot of promise, I don't care about the graphics at all, if you think about Arcanum, the graphics were nothing special but the game was still an absolute gem.
Don't know about Icewind Dale 2. Never even saw part one, as I've heard that it's mostly hack'n'slash. Maybe I should look for a low-price release of Planescape:Torment next.. _________________ "If you can't get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you'd best teach it to dance."

When Fallout3 will arrive, I am in RPG heaven I think I've been waiting for that even more than Morrowind.
Fallout series is absolutely one of the best there is. If not the best. _________________ =Moderator of General MMORPG talk forum=

Not sure what to expect from Sea Dogs 2... never played the first one myself. But it's not one of the games I am anxiously awaiting for. _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=

I'm eagerly anticipating Divinity! Is no one else waiting for this?
Sea Dogs 2 could be interesting too. I'm currently reading Robbin Hobb's Liveship Traders trilogy, so I'm suddenly attracted to pirating.
Aside from that, I have yet to play Zanzarah, Gothic, Morrowind, NWN, maybe Ultima IX - oh, that will be a feast! _________________ “Through the sounds of falling rain, through the clouds of bitter times

Sorry, I have no earthly idea why it posted that three times. I doesn't give me the option to delete the other two so maybe a mod will.
Anyways, I am eagerly awaiting Fallout 3, I just started playing the Fallout series for the first time and I'm having a blast. Fallout 2 > Morrowind. I also need to pick up Arcanum, I can't believe I let that little gem slip by me.
So many RPGs.....so little time... _________________ = Member of The Nonflamers' Guild =
