Game wont Start

I played through Gothic 2 over the summer, and loved it, but after a few months I needed the space that the game was taking so I tried to uninstall it. I couldn't find an uninstall option, so I simply deleted the folder the contained it. Now, I would really like to play Gothic 2 again, but the autorun screen appears as if the game is already installed, but when I start it an error message just pops up and shuts the game down. I can't seem to figure out a way to get the game to work again. SOmeone please help me!

run the setup from the cd manually
