I haven't read these boards....but when is the release date for G2 in the US? no I'm not gonna freak out if it takes a few years....I was just curious...

Release date for Gothic II in the US is 14-Feb-2003. That is the most likely the true. But you never know...  |

By all means I hope it isn't out in April. The version is just about completely done and should be out by then of the first quarter *crosses fingers*. Please let the info on the front page be accurate.

Don't trust ANYBODY except people from JoWood or Piranhabytes.. I've seen games under "coming soon" at both Amazon and EBgames after they were released.. the date of release will be announced when the game goes gold(probably), and that's probably going to happen in February(or end of January). |

From what I understand is that the delay is because of finacial problmes on Jowoods part. Both amazon and gamestop say April where as EBgames says feb, but the Official site still says First Quater of 2003. So It'll go gold on or before March 31, 2003. If it goes gold late March (which is still 1st Quater 2003) then the shipping date in April makes sense. |

The reason for the delay was never officially confirmed. There are many other possible interpretations.

OMG!!! i had no idea it was coming in feb. i thought it was gonna be a few more months  its already the end end of jan. so its coming out soon!?!?!? 
i know its possible that there will be a delay but im gonna trust that this date is true  |
