Dr. Elrath's House

I think I may have messed up this quest. I went into this house, got the incriminting letter, and left - and forgot the two cure potions. Dr. Elrath has been arrested, and I now, of course have no key for his house. Is there a way to get in? I've already used his key. Will I have to wait until my lockpick skills are better, or is this now a dead end?

Get a higher lockpick skill and you can get in again.

Thanks. I couldn't believe I stumbled through it correctly the first time I played this, and then messed it up the second.

I did exactly what you did, Hagatha, so there's at least two of us. Unfortunately depite having maximum lockpick later in the game I could never back in. Hopefully your game will behave better than mine with this .

Nope. Level five lockpick has no effect on the door. Why would that be happening, I wonder? It's not like people are going to know what order to do thngs in the game, after all. I just assumed you'd be able to get back in once you've found the key. Just another one of the unfinished quests I have (worse this time than my firs ttime through the game).

I managed to break five quests (I think), so don't worry.

Wierd. I got into his house twice.

There is a key just to the south of his house.
