I haven't seen the moderator of this forum around lately. You'd think he'd create an update, being that the beta is starting. 
I waited until today to sign up for the beta. Not even www.blizzard.com/wow/ would load once the beta started. Blizzard's servers got the chips kicked out of them. I doubt they anticipated so much traffic.
