I'm doing the quest for Hasphat Antabolis,to find the puzzle box.Is Arkngthand near Molag Mar? I can't seem to find the ruins.Thanks in advance.

Yes. If you follow the directions to Arkngthand provided in your journal after you receive the quest, you should make it. Briefly: go south from town, take the first bridge west across the river, then turn left at the first road signs. A short bit later, you'll see the fort off to the right, and just past it, another road sign. Bear right off the road, but go uphill on the path to the left of that road sign. When it crests, it goes across a bridge; you'll be attacked, but once done, you can see entryway with the handle on a pipe to get in, just to the right (south) of the bridge on the west side.

Anyone know how to get the box? I've been all over it seems and nothing. What's with the machines too... am I supposed to do something with the leaky steam on the steam machine??

The puzzle box is very near the entrance to the dungeon. Don't take the route that puts you into the deeper areas. Use levitate or try and climb up to a small area towards the bottom of the ruined entrance. It's there on the lower left edge of a shelf in this early room.
If you can't find it, you probably went too deep.

EDITED directions Alex provided:
-take the first bridge west across the river-(about 10 feet from the HUGE BUG)
-turn left at the first road sign-(you'll see a small castle infront of you)
-stay right on this path it will go uphill (you'll see the fort off to the right)
-When the hill crests, it goes across a bridge; you'll be attacked
-After your across you'll can see a closed stone entrance
-use the handle on a pipe to get in
Once inside directly below you, you'll see a ground floor lvl and a 2nd floor lvl.(ignore the entrance you walk past while desending the rock path from the VERY top) The entrance you want for the puzzle is on the 2nd floor lvl DIRECTLY above the ground fllor entrance, climb the rock path to get there. |
