Swoop bike upgrades?

I know there are no swoop bike upgrades in the PC version of the game though it looks like they supposed to be there. It's too bad 'cause the swoop races are great but they could've been a lot more fun. Could someone tell me this: are the upgrades available in the X-Box version?

I've beaten the game both on PC and XBox, i've won all tracks (well, all 3, technically)
other than the thing you get on Taris, I've never seen an upgrade, though NPC's talk about them an awful lot!

of course there aren't any. But if you want a change get a different biking game.

Geez, wizard, the guy was asking a question he didn't know the answer to. A simple "No" would have been sufficient. If it was so obvious that there are no swoop bike upgrades (Your response "Of course there aren't any...") then I doubt he would have asked.

Incidentally, I asked that same question my first time through the game. If there were no upgrades, then why the heck do the NPCs mention them so much?

Maybe it was something they decide to leave out in the end.

Yes, that's what I gather, too. Something they wanted to include but just ran out of time. Deadlines have a way of eliminating those fun, but unnecessary elements of games.

Would have been cool though! Maybe for KOTOR 2!

There are upgrades, but not for you. You can lend some dude the money to buy them for his bike. I believe it was on that water planet.

I remember wandering around aimlessly for ages looking for swop bike upgrades. It would have been a nice addition to the game. Grr.

What?! And I spent most of my yesterday looking for upgrades. What really annoys me is that merchant in Tatooine that claims he sells parts
