I forgot all about that letter..i went and got it and died somewhere and loaded and earlier saving then i forgot about it..i didnt even have the letter  stupid me..!

Same here. I forgot the letter so I couldn't open the book. I thought it was a bug, so I reloaded my save game BACK to the time before I fought against the first dragon. Strangely, I figured out what was happening AFTER I fought all the dragons.
I realized that I wasted a lot of time after I figured this out. |

I can imagine  ..I always have a look here at the Spoilers forum when i get real stuck..and i get stuck alot  |

Actually, I think this syndrome is only for those who read spoilers too early. Take Stiler's case for instance. Normally, the player himself (not even the hero) does not know he'll need the ship until he reads the sea map. However, if he reads the spoilers, he'll expect to make a ship crew even before the sea map. This is probably the reason why he post this question here. |

everytime I go into that Library, all I see on the left wall is a small telephone sized section of wall missing...and thats is. I've read all the books, I still cant find this almanac or whatever. I talked to Lester, I read the note, opened and read the book...
wtf? |

There are only two stands with books in hidden library of Xardas. One of them contains nothing usefull and second MUST BE almanac. |

i have done all you guy's said, but i'm not able to make the transportrune to the "secret room" what sould i do?  (am i doing something wrong).

You have blank runestone? And some holy water? And You`ve read all the needed books? Does the option to create teleport rune to the secret library appears or not? |

well I found out what my problem was, I was trying to open the small opening on the left side of the library, not the big (and obvious) bookcase on the back wall...duh |

I've been to the secret library, got everything, read everything
talked to Pyro about the ToI
got my HD Armor made
WTF do I need to trigger the recruitment of my crew???????????
I already told Hagen I need a ship, that was as far as that went
The only person I was able to hire was biff and I think that was just a temporary thing:
None of the main NPCs are giving me the option to get hired, and Im gettin pissed now
Been to all the towns and Xardas' tower (btw, Cornelius runs to the bandit base after his journal is discovered and the judge is busted)
I have nothing else to kill and spinning my wheels, hlp pls |

Make sure you have read the map. To read it, open the inventory by pressing [Tab], locate the map, then press [Ctrl]. Can't say it more clearly.
