Arabian Nights (to which the Aladdin story belongs) is a collection of classic Arab/Persian/Indian stories. It doesn't contain Chinese stories.

I have 22 Books Of elef KLila Ve lila... (One Tousend nights and a Night)
It was translated to hebrew from the original Arabic Serial, Its an Arabic Story about A boy in china name Aladdin...
Here is a little translation i made from the begining of the book:
"I Once heard, the king of time that was in one of china's towns, a poor tailor that had a son name Alladin.
and that son was a Failior Since he was little (Or a looser, Im not sure... Maybe you can say he was a nobody.. not you Nobody..)
When he rgot to the age of ten, his father wanted to teach him Arts, but since he was so poor, He didnt had trhe money to spend on agucation (SP?) for his son, Not art or sience or any other thing, So he took him to his shop, to show him the art of being a tailor..."
Is this not a proofe?

I've had it for 4 years or so.
I didn't read it a lot. I didn't like them. The original is a bit different from the translated ones. |

Well, I just looked it up in my copy. It may be a collection of Arab tales, but it looks like Aladdin's story is indeed set in China, even though all people bear Arab names and titles.

I thought Alladin was the one who found Genie (sp?) lamp and something with scarabs so that would be Egypt i think .....
Or Persia ..... So Persia is what i call ....

Well, If thats what you think, I think its in China Coz Thats whats written in my book... I alsow asked my dad and he sayd that Aladdins original Story is in china...
