I just recently re-installed Gothic on my new system with a Radeon 9700 and Ive been having the same flashing textures problem as many other 9700 users. I noticed the thread in the troubleshooting forum about this, and you said you know there is a solution, but you cant explain it very well. It you could try it would be much appreciated. Something in the gothic.ini or in the video card settings?

Sorry to post this in the general forum, but it looks like the thread is kind of old, and the troubleshooting forum seems to be a bit of a ghost town. If anyone else has found a solution, please, hit this link and let me know. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me...

The reason why I cannot explain it is for a number of reasons.
1) I no technician and I'm not expirienced enough to trust myself to help you.

2) I dont have Radeon 9700, so I can't test your problem on my computer.

I can tell you that you might try tweaking the game. Its worked before on a number of systems. Just go to GothicDot's cheat guide to find out how. Good luck. Sorry I can't help you any more.

Try the Rage3D forums. They were also the first to find a workaround for the Radeon 8500.

Gothic 2 shouldn´t make trouble. The JoWooD community manager has a Radeon 9700.
