I'm slicing my way through KOTOR at the moment. Lightsabers are so cool. _________________ -=Professional Secret Agent=-

Planescape: torment all the way, baby. Reinstalled it about a week ago after playing through the mediocre game known as KotOR _________________

Sometimes you just can't beat inserting trolls in the Old Camp (Gothic). _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Spellforce is my current addiction. I suck at the RTS parts but the RPG parts of the game are very well done. It's not released, yet, here in the States so I bought the game via Ebay. Glad I did. The game is huge and has a high replayability factor.

Still exploring all aternate endings etc in KoToR here. I'm also playing Spellforce like crpgnut. It frequently takes hours just to do one level in it though. So ...need lots of spare time. |

Gothic 2. That Biff sure is a helpful buddy! Oh, if you want to take him with you, offer him half of the booty. Trust me, it's the best option. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

I'm downloading the demo, but it's going very slowly. Certainly looks interesting from what I've read on the site.
Val, is it a hacking & slashing RPG? I know I should be more patient and wait to see for myself... but I think my download has just stalled |

No, the focus is not on combat. You'll be spending most of your tiime talking to people and doing quests. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Cool. That sounds more like my cup of tea. Finally got the demo downloaded, I'll give it a go today if I can make time. |

I downloaded the demo for Spellforce, so that's what I am playing right now. But I've heard people on this board describe this as an RPG with some RTS features mixed in. So far RTS is all I've seen. I build bases, gather material and send out troops to fight an enemy who does the same things as me, but on the opposite side of the map. Not much role playing there..
Am I doing something wrong or is the demo not a good indication of the full game? _________________ Swedes visit NordicGamers for the latest game reviews in swedish! |

I have the same impression, a RTS with a few light CRPG fetures, but the game can ofcourse be fun anyway. _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.
