Winches
   

At a dungeon near a farm, there's a gate that requires me to use a winch to open. When I try to use the winch, which looks like it should be operatible by hands, I get the message "with what?". So what item is required to use winches?

It's for a quest that you'll be able to do in chapter 3+. If you're that far in the game, talk to the people on Akil's farm.
