| Where to buy Gothic 2 German Version |
|
Could someone who knows or has the German version of Gothic 2 tell me where they bought it and if that store ships to overseas addresses. A store website would be really helpfull here. I live in Canada by the way and I'm kinda new to this whole thing so I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned. Anyway, thanks in advance to any who take the time to help out. |

www.gothic2.com when u first go there , there is a link at the bottom of the screen its in german so i suggest using a translator

Not Always the case. I don't understand more than 10 words of German and yet I too am looking to buy the German version. You get to a point where you have to make sacrifices. I played the German demo with a translator assisted by someone in this community and at this point, I believe, the entire game in German wouldn't be so bad. MUCH better than waiting until November, if that's the case.

Ok, since they have decied to NOT release this game, can ANYONE assist me in the purchase of the German version? I went to the website named above but I cannot read it.

I am willing to spend a lot in shipping if necessary but not if I don't HAVE to.

just to let everyone know: amazon will not ship gothic 2 to us addresses. I've tried _many_ times.
In fact, I've been trying to buy the german gothic for months (cv. my very old posts on this exact topic) but _I have yet to succeed_.
The reason is that I can't find a site that will accept credit cards _and_ ship to the us. My german is ok (actually it stinks, but if I can read walter benjamin in german, I figure i can find my way through a shopping site), but every site I find wants a bank draft or other non-credit-card type of payment, and they want it in DM (edit: yeah, it's euros now. I guess that tells you how long I've been trying to order it!!!). This is completely understandable, but the added cost of a bank draft in a foreign currency, plus foreign shipping make the whole thing cost nearly $100 (or more!).
If anyone has succesfully ordered gothic 2 and had it sent to the us AND paid with a credit card, PLEASE share you info!! for the sake of my sanity..
or, as I requested long ago (to no avail), if there are any kind germans willing to buy the game and ship it to me, I can pay with paypal and i'm more than happy to add a bit extra for 'handling'.
