Anyone ever heard of, or played, Amberstar?

This is one of my favorite crpgs of all time. I was wondering if it's sequel, Ambermoon, was ever released in English. Does anyone know? If so, on what platform? If Amiga, does anyone know of a good Amiga emulator?
TIA

I loved Amberstar. I remember the terrible reviews that it got when it was released, but I was hooked. 3d sections, freedom to roam and a lot of NPCs, it was probably my favorite Amiga RPG. ( Though I also enjoyed Heimdell and Ishar a lot) Hey, it was the days before I had an PC and Ultima.

Amberstar, Ambermoon and Albion - 3 great games from Thalion.
Unfortunatly Ambermoon was never released on the PC, but the Amiga is better anyway

Albion was from Blue Byte, not from Thalion, although some members of the original team worked on it. But unfortunately it was no sequel to Ambermoon.
It does have the look and feel of the Amber games though. Also check the Amberstar/Ambermoon/Albion game comments here on RPGDot. No direct links, sorry, too complicated. Has to wait for a site redesign, eh Myr? .

As for an emulator, I recommend WinUAE. Everything else should be explained at the Thalion Webshrine.

To convert the .dms files from the Thalion Webshrine to the more popular .adf files (for the UAE emulator for example ) you can use this utility:

Did you know that one of the songs in Amberstar was.. inspired by "Bard Dance" from Enya?
I've played Amberstar after the sequel, which was a bit awkward because they downgraded the graphics and inventory management besides other things... However, it was cool to play as my own grandfather in his late teens.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for their input. I plan on downloading an amiga emulator and grabbing the English version of Ambermoon. I may try to grab Dragonflight also, as it was made by the same group. I'm finishing up Divine Divinity, but after that it's time to go retro!
