This usck why cant they keep us posted about whats going on with the English Addon is it so difficult to just put it on the Gothic page becuz from there its gonna run everywere. lol

I think Jowood and Atari are still argueing about some legal rights. Jowood wants to see more money from Atari, because they know what an enormous succes it will be, but Atari wants the publishing rights cheap to make a lot of profit.
That could take a while... |

i think they just arent ready to release it yet, they are still waiting for my peaople to buy G2, then they will buy the addon

naah seens the addon isnt a stand alone people would have to buy G2 too before it would be of any use to them so if they release it now and people who never consittered buying G2 falls in love whit it then they would make more money now insted of if they release it some time in may june where people are out traveling ( heard this would be the time of the release somewhere ) |

Maybe there are waiting for a period when the addon won't have much competition from other newly released rpg's, although I have now idea what game comes close to gothic 2 NotR.
Or they are waiting for the E3 to present a lot of new info including about NotR
Who can tell |

they just cant afford to build their HQ out of bricks yet so they are useing the box's from G2 NOTR untill they can pay of their loans and buy bricks ...
... or something ...

You shouldn't count on the add-on being shown at E3. Because chances are it won't. Last year they had Gothic II at the event and it was rather underrepresented. You had to sit through presentations of several other games until you could get to see some footage of the game running. And the add-on obviously has an even lower priority for them. |
