Need help...sneak went down to 0 |
|
First of all, happy new year for everybody. Now, down to business:
I am having the same problem for the third time. I've just started Morrowind, i am still at Seyda Neen, and i dunno why, my sneak went to 0. red 0, actually. I went to Vivec temple, and bought every bless i found, and tried to cure myself from poison, desease and blight, but nothing hapened. I don't want to start all over again becouse of this, so, can anyone help me? Is there a shrine that return your skills to normal values? can i edit the savegame to put my 20 sneak points back?

Happy new year indeed.
I believe in one of the patches an NPC was given the ability to restore skills (in response to the badly-coded sword that destroyed your armour skills). I think the Imperial Cult healers may be able to do that.
However, as you know what level your sneak should be at, it's even easier. Bring down the console (tilde/backtick/whatever - the one below ESC), and type the following:
player->setSneak 20
This will return it to the level it should be at. This won't cure the problem though, so it may occur again. Anyone got any ideas what might be causing this? _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Glad the problem is solved. You can indeed get drained skills cured by either Almsivi Restoration (from a Temple triolith) or Divine Restoration (from an Imperial shrine). It's not an NPC thing.
Wonder how the problem occurred though. Sounds to me like a mod effect? |
