Diablo2 Patch. Horrible, Evil and Hateful!

I've just read the Bill Roper interview on the Diablo2 site about the upcoming game patch. I'm sorry folks, but it's made me sick to my stomach and furious. WHY would they do this, to what must be one of the best and most popular games of all time?
This is the most blatant act of sabotage, idoicy and pure bastardry I've ever seen. The imbeciles have effectively nerfed the entire game. One of the best and most addictive elements of the game, namely 'Magic Find' has been totally stuffed.
How dare they do this! If players want to do endless Pindleskin and Cow runs for the experience and drops, that's their business. They paid for the bloody game, they should be able to do what they please.
I for one intend to NEVER play on Battlenet again. I will avoid the new patch like the plague!
Sorry for the rant, but this has really upset and angered me.
