I guess he really didn't want to cross dress . I wonder if that nude armor gives any kind of protection?

I think it works wonders for the women of gothic... what kind of man, even a criminal, could bring himself to swing at someone wearing that.
(Besides the bloodthirsty NPCs, who swing at anyone not flagged properly who moves even an inch from their scripted location )

Since Aaron is not - technically speaking - a woman of Gothic, the armor didn't help him. Testing the COOH's thesis, I struck him down quite easily.
... he wasn't harmed in the test. Not too badly, that is, I take it he will live .

Copy the link;
Thorus doesn't like the armour too much.
Forgive the quality, I made it in haste.

That looks... painful.

The same thing happened to 'me' when I did it. Also, I noticed that after I put "me's" normal armor back on, and knocked 'me' down with Throus in the babe armor, 'me' got back up and healed himself. |

When you leave your body, it will still take some basic NPC scripted actions... like heal itself if food or potions are on hand... I've noticed that as well.

In my case, 'Me' appeared as a floating head/w weapons, just like Aaron. Perhaps it has something to do with the Old Mine...
Oh, I noticed something interesting - if irrelevant -, too. Aaron was the FIRST NPC EVER who put on his original clothes again after I had forced him to wear this veil of nothingness. After that I simply stripped him* without equipping any armor in his inventory, and after about a minute >whizz< he equipped his armor again.
Looks like his Immorality flag is set on 'off' ...

I think the NPCs will equip the strongest items they have automatically, including armor. I seem to recall 'giving' some guard armor to a digger and him slapping it on before continuing to chip away faithfully at the ore...
Still, I admit I don't have much experience stripping male NPCs to their boxers and seeing what they do when I leave their body.

Ah, I have a lot of experience on that field of research .
Most of the time - in all instances but this one, that is - the boys just returned to their original place and continued to do what they had been doing before that (remember 13th Floor?). So far, none of them re-equipped their armor, at least not while I remained in the vicinity.
And they don't always equip the strongest item in their inventory - Scorpio for example had (in chapter 5) a crossbow of war in his inventory, but he had a heavy crossbow equipped. Perhaps his dex wasn't sufficient to equip the crossbow of war.
