I'm level four and i didn't use one LP yet !!!
I would like to know if i should try to lvl out a lil more before using LP's or i should use them now already ???
Is it any good to use bows or Xbows in this game ???
I would like to concentrate on dexterity because i want to be an archer and a thief ????
But i still don't know which guild i would like to join !!!
I played a lil as every guild and it looks like mages r very difficult start with!! But ppl say that when u come to ch 4 or 5 it becomes very very easy!
Paladin look like an ok guild but then i would have to concentrate on magic and on combat and it would make me a harder time developping !!!
Merc look like brutish primates but then i should have enough strengt and i wouldn't be able to concentrate on my bows !!! |

Hi
It really depend on your gut instinct on which guild to join. You have seen most of them and you should have an idea which one attract you the most.
Don't worry abt joining the merc. You'll have more than enough XP to be a master in 2H a master in crossbow as well as strength up to 100. As long as you seek out and destroy as many enemies as possible.
Also try to distribute the XP evenly.
As for mage..it is recommended for advance players.
ZBut if you wish, you can give it a shot with the monestary...but you don't get good armor nor weapons and rely heavily on spells. Meaning you also have to run a lot.
However you can do your best to creat a warrior mage. Spell/melee.
But remember, the cost for melee training doubles once you enter the monestary.
If you are torn btw the guilds...maybe the paladin are your best choice A mix of melee and a bit of magic. _________________ -Adventurer

bows and Xbow are very helpful in the game, because there alsways anemies you can't handle, and you can just kill them with a bow/Xbow.
i prefere Xbow, although the bow reloads faster.
if you want to train in bow/thief than you might wanna try the mercenaries, and the thiefs guild.
and like genghis said, you can train your dex, strenght and you 1H/2H very good at the same time. (in the end of the game you will even have some lp you can't use) _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

dexterity and 1H, not strenght you first need to know how to handle a weapon before you buy/find a very good one. _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

A good way to become good is to train much in strenght and dexterity, then you will become good in both meele and ranged weapons without even train in 1- or 2handed or bow and crossbow skills. When you have 90 in both str and dex you will become as strong as an skeleton, and a they have 90str, 90dex but 0 in all meele and ranged skills, and still they do great damage
And yes, vows and crossbows are very usefull if you can handle them..wolves, (black)goblins, scavengers and many animals will die in 1-2 shots..and it will spare you a lot of life and healt potions |
