| Hortator of House Redoran |

ok, i have to convince house redoran to name me Hortator cause im the Nevarine and stuff. and to do this i have to get all the councilors to back me up. i was told that you have to first convince Bolvyn Venim to back you then later beat him in a duel. Here is the problem. I was in his manor way back for a thieves guild quest and found that kid who was a prisoner. I killed Venim and most other people in the entrance of the manor in order to get the kid back to his home, which i discovered is a quest given later on. so my question is, with venim already dead can i still be named Hortator? (this is why i like house televanni. if someone disagrees with you you kill em and your argument wins.)

no, sarethi, and even the wise woman nebani measa said i killed a councilor of house redoran and can never become hortator and fulfill the prophicy. is there a fix for this like for the huleeya bug? can i put in a journal entry saying i was named hortator of house redoran and trick the game??

She also said that to me, ofcourse I killed the leader of Redoran to become it myself, Arethi named me horator. (Which was a healthy decision of him).
I don't know if this goes for all quests/killed counselers, but she says that if you killed a council/leader of one the houses, even if it was just to "take over" control of the house.
It should be possible to just enter the entry into your journal I think, I dont know how the entry is called, you better fire up TES construction set and do a search...

There should be a cheat command a command to resurrect someone. I am not sure if it will hellp. |
