I am on the quest to talk to Xardas and i found the tower in the lake in the orc lands. i swam through the tunnell and killed all the enemies in the big underground room. I cant figure out what to do next. The skeleton mage dropped some kind of disc but i cant pick it up. What do i do?........where is Xardas?

Wrong location!
Walk SW for a few seconds and you will see his tower.
