Ultima IX ?

I was thinking of purchasing Ultima IX if I can find it but has it been "fixed" with patches? I remember reading it had a lot of bugs when released. Also, for anyone that is playing it or has played it,did you enjoy it?

the patches fix alot of the bugs ... but its a great game ... inspired the boys to make gothic! If you can find it ... GET IT!!! thats all I can say ... one of the best thirdperson rpgs IMHO

with the patches U9 is nearly flawless.

The only problem i had with this game was the absolutely abysmal voice acting. Just play without the voices.

If you don't mind reading the text, then this is one of the greatest 3D RPG's ever made. However, no comparison to Gothic 2 tho. U9's gameworld was truly massive.
