I'm just arrived in the new camp after completing most of the missions to become a member of the old or of the brotherhood. I'm level four and I have str and dex at 10. Even if I have the best sword of the old camp (from Fisk) I'm not able to beat up
Lefty. what should I do, improve my strength? To what level?

With level 4 and only 10 str you are way too weak to fight humans. So gain some levels , pump some iron and try to avoid fights.
Do some quests for the NC, go to the Free Mine and get the digger�s clothes. Put them on and visit the pub in the NC. Talk to the guy in the back room, then visit Horatio. Earns you 5 str for free.

i found you didnt realy need to fight lefty, you can climb the terrace and get past him, that way you have access to the NC and can fight lefty when you are ready.
