combat vs. magic vs. stealth

This is more of a discussion rather than a question. From info that I was able to gather up, I was able to get an idea of what the valuable skills would be. I thoroughly enjoy playing a stealth class and this game actually supports playing more than just a combat class. More RPG games require lots of hack and slash and make it more difficult if you are a weaker less hit point thief. Well this game allows the use of thieving sklls and achieving missions without even having to kill anything. Like retrieving an item without having to kill the boss like another game. I can now play a thief the way I always wanted to and that is a real thief, not a combat thief just so I can get that cool artifact. I can't speak for magic users because I never really liked using magic. I have always been the holy knight or stelthy asassin (nice contrast huh) Well tell me what you all think since I have yet to even get the game...This is all from reading.
