| Greg, Dexter questions (spoilers naturally) |
|
So I've read that there are some issues with both of their quests. I've spoken to Greg without advancing anything, and I'm aware of Dexter's existence. What order should I do things in order to avoid getting screwed?

You should first do all the quest for Greg, collecting his treasures etc.
If he's standing on the crossroad near Onar's farm and you've given him all his treasures, he will say something about the guy with the red armor (Dexter), now you can go there.
First finish the treasure hunt quest before going to Dexter, otherwise you won't be able to finish that quest.
edit: fixed the Greg/Dexter errors.

You should go and talk to dexter first, and tell him that a pirate might be looking for him, I did that and found no problem with the quest whatsoever.

But I believe that when you say the wrong things, Dexter will attack you like he does in G2 (without the addon). When he starts fighting you Greg will also appear and then you can't finish the quest with the treasures anymore.

?? Don't I get the treasure hunt quest from Greg? Did you mean Dexter the 2nd two times?

Before starting this thread I had spoken with Greg but then said goodbye without advancing anything, and I haven't met Dexter yet. Now I go back to Greg and there are no convo options, just 'end.' Somehow I've already messed it up?

Go visit Dexter; he'll give you an option to leave without fighting. Then talk to Greg. As far as the main quest goes, I don't think you even need Greg at that point. All you really need is to read the note that Dexter is carrying.
