Question about taking Dragon hearts

Hello Everyone!! I'm back from a 3 week vacation to Europe and Africa... wasn't able to smuggle any secrets on G3 outta Germany though.

I've just entered Chapt. 4, and will be facing dragons soon I hope. I don't want to kill one though until I know the answer to this question:

Do you have to learn a hunting technique first in order to take a Dragon's heart? I'm afraid of using the Eye of Innos, and then not being able to take a heart necessary to recharge it. Seems like I remember meeting a hunter somewhere who would teach taking an animal's heart, but can't remember where, or if it even matters in this instance. Thanks for the help!

After the recharging of the eye by Vatras, Pyrocar and Xardas you learn how to recharge the eye, you are also automaticly learned how to take a Dragons' heart.

You learned the ability automatically, if you however want to learn to skin dragons or take there blood you need to go to one of the dragonhunters.

I can't remember their names either, but one guy is up near the old fortress, he'll train you for free. The other is at the cave across the river from marcus' mining site.
