Yep, it's all the phosphoric acid, it's what gives cola/soda/pop its bite.

IIRC one used to be able to scratch a quarter or a nickle, I can't remember which, and put it inside a bottle of cola/soda/pop and it would dissolve the middle of the coin.

Another bad things of Pepsi or Coke is the quantity of sweet substance inside, plus it help you get Diabetes faster and burdening your already overworked kidneys.

Imaging all kinds of processed foods and drinks you taked everyday; beers, pizzas, cakes, not to mention peoples who smoked & such...then imaging how your kidney and livers try to sort out every rubbish or unusable substances = preservatives, food conditioner, flavouring, and on and on (just read the "contains" section on your Coke can!).
