I got mine from the smith in the mercs farm. He asked 20k for it. Since I had plenty of cash and it seemed I couldn't buy in stores better stuff than that I already have, I purchased it.

Yes. There's two guys who teach. One is across river from Marcus' mine and aother is up by the fortress. When you go up the hill towards the fortress bear to the right. He'll be under the overhang with Gorn.

My friend is in Chapter 4 and found the guy up by the fortress, but Gorn wasn't there. Did Gorn die?

you have to talk to gorn at the valley pass to find him by the tower later
Gorn die? That dude lives for battle! I can still remember going into the Merc Camp mine with him for the first time in G1, watching him tank and murder the whole place (pretty much) solo and thinking Oh my god, this is 1 bloodthirsty freak!

If you go up to the fortress before going to the castle, the dragon hunters stay near the pass where you see them the first time. Forgot about that.

Thankyou for your info. I'm at ch4 and I have already talked to Gorn and beat up the dragon hunters that get a bit moody and as far as I know Gorn isn't dead. if he is where would I find his body?

Have no idea. A copy of him sometimes shows up in a cave, but i've found just about everybody there at one time or other. I'm talking about the named characters who left during ch 3 or 4 to go to the VoM or elsewhere.
