It would be rather goofy to present a German version of a game in the midle of Los Angeles, wouldn't it. |

I haven’t played Gothic II yet since I think I’ve got time enough to play it just once. Hope we can get English gold edition (Sigh). |

Well, maybe they do not want to lose out on all the sales by using the German version plus text patch (just in case)??
By putting out the English version, that is very good news. I will still buy it. I would have all the gothic versions in my collection now! _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut?

It is a press release. Do you really believe it? So much BS past year. We are working on a text patch, we need this verified. _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |

Was an english version of Gothic II ever released? Whenever I'm passing my favourite PC games shop, always have a quick browse for it, but never seen it!
Mind you, Gothic 1 never made it to the land of Oz either, had to buy it second-hand from a friend in the US (refuse to "buy over the net"). Shame really, for all but it's "clunky" mouse/keyboard combination controls, as a story it was great, visually impressive, rather linear after the first couple of chapters, but speaking for myself, that's not a super-big hang-up. It deserved the title of "What Ultima IX should have been" as it was often referred to when released.
So has an english version of G2 been released in the US/UK? Is it just the add-on(s?) you're waiting for? |

We're just waiting for the addon Night of the Raven. Both the UK and US version were released about half a year ago. It's easy to get the game from in internetshop, but since you don't like that I'd say try to find one of the larger computer/gamestores. They should have the game. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

A Secret War has been declared on the E3 - 2004-05-10
Udett Schaffrath, Producer, and myself, are already on our way to the E3 Convention in Los Angeles. We'll be on hand for the entire event, presenting SÖLDNER to the international press. If you're one of the lucky ones, willing to put up with the expense and the ever-present danger of being crushed in the crowds you'll find us at the JoWood booth Southhall Booth # 346.
We're ensuring that we're not drowned out by all the news coming out of E3, and over the next couple of days we'll be doing updates straight from the E3 to the official website, so be sure to check back regularly. Lock and load people, this is going to get messy.
Win a copy of Söldner - Secret Wars at the cover contest at the fansite Soldner Central.
-------------------------
Well I see that JoWooD is at E3. But Gamespot does not list them anywhere on there 'complete' list of games. JoWooD has quite a few games to release. I do not know why Gamespot does not cover them. Anyone find any news what other games they are showing off there at E3 ? _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |

As far as I know, many software companies will not deal software in the SE Asia area due to rampant piracy.
I guess you can blame your smart little hackers there for never having software games? _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |
