How do I use the knockdown feat?

My dwarven fighter just trained the knockdown feat when leveling up.
It says: Use = selected.
But how do I select the feat?
I can't seem to drag it into the shortcut bar so there must be another way.
I've skimmed the manual but at feats it only explains what feats there are and not how to select them.

I'm sure it's simple but me simple dwarf - me no understand

You must select the Feat Knockdown (right click and use the spiral menu or hot key it to the F keys) in combat.

Your attack roll for that round will be made with a -4 penalty. A successful attack roll will be compared to the defender's Discipline skill check.

You can only knock down an opponent who is one size larger than yourself (or anyone smaller). The bigger guy get's a +4 bonus for every catagory size that is larger than you. For every catagory size smaller...the opponent gets a -4 hit against their DC. So, obviously, pick on the little guys for more sucessful knockdowns!

Also, you'll get a bonus when attacking someone you've knocked down. I haven't noticed any alignment hit, which is surprising since kicking someone when they are down is not exactly honorable behaviour...but hey, I don't write the rules.

Ok, it was a long time ago I played this game and I don't remember so much. But if you want knockdown in your shortcut bar, you right-click on the bar and selects assign (something). Then i don't remember anything more, but just try to right-click and see for yourself.

You can't drag it to the hotbar, but you can assign it.

Right click on a free space, go to the special attacks (where power attack, etc is)... I think it's where the five would be on a clock. Can't recall offhand.

Then select knockdown.

I love that feat. You get a +4 to hit them while they're down, and standing up uses one of their attacks.

Knockdown makes fighting caster-types soooo much easier.
