So do misc skills contribute to your level or not? I can swear that they do, but people say they don't contribute to the multiplier? I can swear it contributes too. What is the final answer to this?

You do not level with 10 gains in them but they do add on statpoints when you level, that`s a 100%

(10* skillgain = +5 in regarding stat, be it major/minor or misc)

Thats correct.
It even say so in the manual.
page 26, line 5 from the bottom.
