Can someone tell me a way to speed up my fan rotation? I read somewhere that you could and im wondering if i could do it because i have 1 extra fans that dont seem to do much as my board temp while playing games is usually around 60 degrees and i think its too hot. Any suggestions? Thanks. p.s i also have a 15 minute game crash in gothic 2, straight to dekstop and i have no idea why...
You need a potentiometer attached to the fan if you want to regulate the speed. Some heatsink/fan combos have this.
60° is at the upper end of the tolerance corridor. Itīs quite possible this is more than your system can handle for more than a few minutes. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot

ah ok thanks. Ive actually solved the crashing problem...i dont know exactly what it was but i loaded my system with basic drivers in msconfig and it seems to of worked. Is there any way of decreasin my temp out of interest? i already have 2 fans attached to my case and a hard drive cooler. I dont really have anymore room for anything else and my temp is still around 50-60 degrees...
