Help my Armor Rating has dropped to zero!

I just finished going through Kogoruhn and somewhere in there my armor rating dropped to zero for every category even unarmored.

They all show as a red 0 but I don't see any indication that I am sick, cursed, or retarded.

What so I do the get my armor back, then I can start working on this riddle.

I have the Indoril Armor and Shield.

If you check further down on this board you'll see a thread with the same (almost) name as this one.. If you open that and read through it I am sure you'll find your answer. Anyone wanna bet with me that this topic will be locked when a moderator finds it?

I ran a search for "Armor rating droped to 0" before I posted this and came up with nothing.

But I'll try again.

Ok ok, I will answer (with what I know) then! Check if you have a sword named the Fury in your inventory. It apparently has a nasty bug attached to it that lowers all your armour to 0 once equipped. There is also an unofficial bugfix for it at www.morrowindfiles.com There. Better?

Thanks I do have the sword and I did run the search again...

These are a few of the responses I got.

Topic: Why Gothic is Better than Morrowind

Topic: So which camp will win?

Topic: Photoshop Phridays

None of them said anything about this.

Patch didn't seem to work so I just did that part over without picking up the sword.

Thanks for the info I don't know how long I could have fooled around with this if I didn't know that the sword was the problem.

It sure was a lot easier to go through the second time with my armor a 500 then it was the first time with my armor a 0.
