| Is There Swampweed In Gothic 2? |

What I wont to know , I am waiting for the english verion of the game , will be you be able to smoke swampweed in GOTHIC 2 like in GOTHIC 1?
I am looking forward to DIRECTX 8.1 halutination features in GOTHIC 2 , cause I use to play GOTHIC 1 when I was high and I was all time in swamp cap smoking swampweed!

You will be able to smoke swampweed if you manage to find it. In town, the usual tobacco for water pipes is apple tobacco  .

Bad news for you: They have pushed DirectPot and DirectSht (both essential components for the highly anticipated DirectCrack support) to DirectX 33.3. Apparently, MS are now focusing on DirectXXX because of the "numb tongue" reports from beta testers. :p
But yes, there's swampweed and they have added a nice magic effect when you smoke it (an attempt at visualizing vaporising braincells, I'm sure  ). |

I found some in the demo. When my fellow smoked it, time seemed to slow down, even when I re-loaded a save game from before he smoked it... possible exploit? Maybe...

With some skills in alchemy you can even mix your own blends of wheed! You'll have to try by yourself and mix all the different ingredients available, but it's worth the time and the outcome is very funny, err strange...weird... |
