Yes, it's possible, but you have to become a shadow first and then do the minecrawler queen quest for Cor Kalom...

Step by step:
Complete the minecrawler quest for Cor kalom, then speak to Ian before you leave the mine. If you also speak to the templar's they'll praise you  go to thorus in the old camp, he'll offer to make you a gaurd, but tell him your interested in magic, then go to milten and he sends you to corristo, corristo asks a few questions, get them right and follow him upstairs |
