Frustration In Australia, translation shenanigans |
|
Finally, FIIINAALLY, i get a copy of gothic 2, oh the joy of chasing it up. Guess what, damn thing is in polish! Thing is, if i had the add on, which no doubt will be just as hard to get, i could install the language patch, which would be great.
As i dont have it, nor can i forsee myself managing to get it, just how do i patch the polish subtitles to the english equivalents? Same deal goes with all the menus too, but i can prolly get by with them being in polish.
Are there specific files, or and older patch that can accomplish this? Thing is, the new patch wont work, as i need the add on for it to be compatable. Any advice would be extra special swell.

edit, sorry to bust in out of the blue asking for advice, but im at the end of my tether, jeebus!
Ive since been in contact with the makers of that wonderful english patch and confirmed, yes i need the add on for the translation to function. Apparently theres certain files i need to replace the text. |

The add-on changes some dialogs for a number of NPCs. More options, short cuts, etc. . So it doesn´t look like it would work. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
