Well it is about alchemy skill. They ruined this skill because it is not worth to learn it until the late chapters. Example: it is much better to wait to train mana to 250 and then learn alchemy to make 20 permanent mana potions so you can build mana up to 450-500.
I think they should restrict skills to some maximum point. For example they should restrict mana to 350-400, but they should allow teachers to teach you also that far. That way people would not have a reason to save potions and king sorrel untill teachers train them maximum, and alchemy would be more useful to learn in the begining of the game...

Are you talking about the addon? Why you didn't mention that?

Well, it is a new skill(no alchemy in G1) but I wanted to say that it would be better if it is not useless untill late chapters...

Yes, I see what you mean Nothingman. I personally am too impatient to wait that long before using attribute-boosting items. I'm certain that you can beat the game without saving all of that for the end, and I would much rather get any edge on combat now then struggle through the game and find it too easy at the very end.

This time I play as magician and I am doing just that. No saving potions for the and, I use them as soon as I find them, or make them. No way that I will wait to learn mana to 250 and then to use boosters, it is too boring.
