That's completely your decision. You can join any guild. But for thief its good to have high Dexterity. _________________

Just find the thieves' guild and learn there skills. You can try to play a ranged character, because of the dexterity needed, but not all creatures can be killed with arrows, so you'll need some fighting skills. There are several one-handed dexterity weapons that you can use when playing ranged. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

If you really want to fit the role, I suggest playing a mercenary/dragon hunter. Otherwise, any class will do. _________________ Do you know how LAZY you Morrowind people are! Instead of getting up and fighting Dagoth Ur, you send someone to do it for you! Only I'm excused, I AM the king. |

They already said it, X-dANGEr. You should go for dexterity and offcourse learn the thieve skills. (pick locks, pickpocket and sneak 5lp each) _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows

You can also just train your strength and fighting skill, in G2 without the addon you will get enough lp do train your dexterity upto 100 without a problem.
You can't really mess up in G2. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

I play as a thief because there are some ways to improve your dexterity for free, and of course, because of all the money around _________________ Some people search all their life for something and don't find, while others find and aren't satisfied.(Mihai Eminescu) |

As a thief strength is not needed. Bump up your dex and get a dex based sword and a decent bow or crossbow. _________________ Chris: Dad, what's the blow-hole for?

Rapier is easy to get just go to Grom's woodcutting camp go deeper into the forest have a chat with the wolves say hi to the trolls and if they don't take kindly to that run to that rock where the rapier and some scrolls and a King's Sorrel is take em and run away.
PS: Don't forget to say bye to the nice trolls |
