I wondered why the delete post button is not available for me on all my posts. I did a double post, without realizing it and then answered with another post and now cannot delete one of the doubles.

I'm pretty sure you can only delete a post before subsequent posts are made in that thread. Not quite sure why but that's the standard on most boards I've seen.

You can always delete the last post if it is yours. If it isn't and it really bugs you that much, then ask a mod to do it. Not allowing people to delete their post after someone posts after them is a good policy.

but what if someone accidently post three times in a row, then they can't delete the first time they posted, only the last, that has happened a lot to me???

Yeah, edit the posts that you want removed to say something like "Moderator, please delete me". If it's something that should be dealt with fast, click the blue button to report the post to the moderators.
