Two quick (and possibly dumb) questions.

Hey all. Thanks for tuning in.

First off, I've encountered a weird problem with my new character, a custom class male Wood Elf. When I press the Tab button, he doesn't switch over to third-person as is the usual - instead, it locks up my mouse until I let go of the Tab key. The same thing happens no matter what I bind the Change POV command to.

With my Dark Elven Battlemage, though, it switches right away.

I want to see my little guy run He's so cute in the right-click menu!

Next, where's Hla Oad? I silt stridered accross the continent and I still haven't evne gotten a hint as to its location. I have two quests that have been pending for a while that involve the place, and I want to get them out of the way so I don't forget about them.

Thx you much.

-Matt

Don't know about your tab key problem - might be a bug.

Hla Oad is a small town with boat access - so if you don't want to walk, go to one of the towns on the west coast and work your way by boat to it. If you want to walk (don't you have a map? one came with my game and the town is on it), leave Balmora and head south - keeping to the banks of the river (do not cross the river). At the third bridge (a wooden one I think) you should see a sign to Hla Oad. At any rate the town is just a wee bit west of the mouth of the river into the Inner Sea.

Can take the boat from vivec to Hla Oad, or go south from Balmora past the eggmine and west across the hills, little fishing village at the coast, or if you go far enough south from balmora you will eventually reach a sign where all the netch fly around, and it's also right over the hill from where the Hlaalu stronghold is built.

Phew - I was starting to get worried that I was the only one with a map. Didn't wanna say anything in case it started a "Where my map, you swines?" thread

Having said that the world is much smalled than the map would indicate - On the map Balmora and Seyda Neen looks miles apart but they are only really a short walk - assuming you go the right way and don't end up near ghost gate **innocent whistle**
