I read in a magazine, that there is a Drunken Mudcrab who acts as a trader, but who has sackfulls of cash on him, thus solving the Traders don't have enough money issue, without having to apply a plugin.

Would this be the same crab?

Yep

That it would. He carries quite a lot of money, but not as much as you'd expect.

It's worth getting a couple of good Water Walking potions before going off to find him though... And make sure you don't kill him either...

Ha! Waterwalking potions would have been the easy way! I swam! I battled Slaughter Fish all the way there, I.......... Ok, I didn't know there were water walking potions. BAH!

Imagine my delight, when having fought may way to this rich crab trader (not to mention finding him in the first place) he tells me that he does not buy the items I want to sell!!! A quest for the fighters guild involved collecting a 2000 debt. Which in turn meant picking up everything in the guys hideout and then selling it after to make the money. Except it seems I can't sell it. Damn choosy crabs! Well thats it.. if he doesn't want to by my items....he's Pate! Now where did I put that large club!

Badger.
